Rascals Entertainment is a multi award-winning Harrogate based Children’s
entertainment company.
Our aim is to offer you magical, engaging & fun entertainment. When it comes
to School Discos, we have over 10 years’ experience hosting School Discos,
we believe the children should have lots of fun in a safe and fun environment.
High Energy Entertainers
Our entertainers are young with high energy and have lots of experience hosting school discos.
We are not DJ’s we are entertainers to ensure the children have a great interactive time, we don’t just stand there listening to music, we get them all involved in fun dance competitions, games, bubbles, challenges, interactive dances for them to follow and music requests for the older ones.
School Discos can be a great Fundraiser, or just so the kids can burn off some energy and have lots of fun or a
little treat.
DBS, Insurance and PAT Test Certificate
We hold £5million public liability insurance cover together with PAT testing of all our electrical equipment, all our School Disco hosts hold DBS enhanced certificates.
Please ask in advance for copies of any of the certificates prior to your disco.
Please note busy dates are booked up months in advance often, especially October, July & December
School Disco/Party Packages
We host school discos for ages 4-12 years, we would recommend splitting the discos into Key stage 1 and 2 and pre school, however for smaller schools we can host discos for all years together.
We host lots of Year 6 leavers disco, the entertainment would be very much aimed at their age group, we take music requests in advance and on the day, as often certain songs mean a lot to schools.
The best discos are when we can aim the entertainment for the children’s age.
Prices include within 8 miles of Harrogate; please ask for travel costs and provide a postcode.
We have lots of disco options and even themed seasonal discos such as
Halloween, Christmas or Easter too for you to choose from.
DISCO & GAMES School Disco Ideal age 4-11years
Our party entertainers love hosting these discos. The children follow the entertainer in interactive dancers, some of them
are Mini Disco type dances they may well have done on holiday and others are to dances from popular cool pop songs and dance to popular pop songs as well as group type games, that don’t have illumination for KS1.
We provide sound system, Disco lights, bubble guns and props for the games.
Set up will be between 45-60mins depending on the package.
We adjust the disco, songs and dances for KS1 and KS2 so they have age appropriate entertainment from high energy entertainers who know exactly what works and how to have a great school disco
We offer school discos from One hour, most are to hours which is split between one hour each for KS1 and KS2

Year 6 Leavers 2 hour UV Disco
Our team of energetic entertainers, love our Year 6 leavers discos, creating a great atmosphere for the tweens, who want older entertainment to the latest pop tunes, we take requests and know what songs are popular !
With the latest popular tunes, tik tok dances ( we don’t mention tik tok) music requests, classic popular disco dances to follow and fun age appropriate games, fun dance competitions and loads of "free dance" tracks to dance their favourite songs to enjoy, all age appropriate to Year 6 that they will enjoy and be made to feel like they are tweens as they go onto senior school, creating a fabulous Vibes and atmosphere with happy memories of their last primary school disco.
The older Year 6 children really relate and engage with our team of young energetic entertainers ( 17-25)

Let’s Glow UV School Disco Ideal age 5-12 years
Super cool UV Disco, special UV lights to highlight our UV (Ultra Violet) disco lights creates a harmless purplehaze that enhances the colours of any glow accessories, florescent clothing and products that transforms your party. The children follow the entertainer in interactive dancers, some of them are Mini Disco type dances they may well have done on holiday and others are to dances from popular cool pop songs and fun group games too.
We provide sound system, Disco lights, bubble guns and props for the games.
Please note the venue must be fairly dark for the UV to have effect, but light enough
to see children(this can usually be achieved with blinds or curtains)

Santa’s Interactive Storytime with his Elves
This new activity from 2022 is proving very popular for schools & pre schools . Especially popular for school Christmas Fayres and Fun days. We have the most realist Santa’s reading and acting out a story, which will include dancing and sing a long with the audience. Interactive story time last between 10-25mins per session or we can make it last up to 30mins. Santa Interactive Story Time 2 hours suggested split into 20min sessions of Storytime

To ensure your get the date you want for your child’s party, Please book early. We recommend booking at least 8-12 weeks
in advance to look to get the date you want.
Once we have informed you the date is free, we will hold that date for 4 days only.
To confirm the booking for that date, we require a £75 non-returnable deposit and a completed booking form.
We recommend our team using a stage or raised area for large school discos if over 40 children for the best engagement, so all the children can see the entertainers and follow their every move with the dances, alternatively we can use benches
to create space between children and equipment.
